With social media marketing, there’s a chance that someone may learn about your brand for the very first time, just because one of your posts shows up on their feed because their friend liked it.
When you like something on Facebook, for example, there’s a chance that the thing that you just liked will show in your friends feed, saying that you just liked it. This increases your exposure.

Search engines like Google are likely making social media as a significant ranking factor. Being active on social media could act as a “brand signal” to search engines that your brand is legitimate, credible, and trustworthy.
